YEARS
of DAMN
GOOD
BEER
2010 marks Schell’s Brewery’s
150th—that’s sesquicentennial
to you—birthday.
Having survived floods,
fires, locusts, prohibition and
even Budweiser and Miller,
what’s even more impressive
is that throughout Schell’s
150 year run, the New Ulm
staple has been owned by
the same family—yeah, the
last name is now Marti, but
still—since day one.
Best of all, they’re only getting
better. With an array of craft
and specialty beers that will
make even the micro-brew
purist salivate, and a new
design aesthetic to boot,
Schell’s seems poised for
another 150 years of beer
brewery bliss.
